I got yelled at for calling it a gym too. It's a "health club" says a guy who basically ONLY works out there. I forget why its a health club. I swear to all thats holy, some guys who claim to workout because they enjoy it are awful fickle about where they do it. Right now you could throw me into a room full of shit and if it had the right equipment I would work out there. I just don't get it.

rule #1, when someone yells at you for calling it a gym, you fucking run away from the place and join a proper gym.Originally posted by NewbieChris View PostI got yelled at for calling it a gym too. Rule 1: Can I workout there? YesOriginally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postrule #1, when someone yells at you for calling it a gym, you fucking run away from the place and join a proper gym.

Rule 2: Do my strength needs / cardio needs out reach what the club provides? No
Rule 3: I asked people if they knew of 'real' gyms in my area and no one had any comments.
Its not that I am simple Jack (or maybe it is), I just have absolutely no idea how to respond to my bodies needs. I learn best when I work with people who are knowledgeable, ask questions and create conversation. Its not like I know everything about economics either, but I spend 10 months writing a research paper in the field working with everything from psychologists to doctors of economics. I have not had the opportunity to do such a thing in an extreme amount with 'excersize' in general.

Chris, maybe if you spent less time talking about the work out and more time doing it you might not have that problem.Originally posted by NewbieChris View PostRule 1: Can I workout there? Yes
