  • Turf Toe...any recommendations?

This is the first time I have ever experienced turf toe. It happened when I was doing jiu-jitsu, and it has almost been 2 weeks since the injury. I thought it was just a sprain, but then it wasn't healed in a week and I knew something was wrong.

Been doing ice and keeping it elevated, but I am so tired of it. I sounded like a bitch this past weekend on a trip when I would complain about my toe, but a guy on the trip said he had it and it was painful.

I can't put much pressure on my big toe, and I have to make sure it doesn't extend that much.

Any insider tips to speed up my recovery? I figured some of you football players would have some input.

Well my lifting has been more consistent, but I have just been doing upper body.

I ordered some wrestling shoes and was thinking of taping my foot, then putting a sock on, and then finally putting on the wrestling shoes. I don't want to be out of training for a few weeks, it has already been a week.

I tried to go last week, but it was terrible, I was constantly worried about my toe and protecting it. I was doing dumb things just to avoid using my feet.
