i have tried the pro active on her face with mixed results - i was not real impressed ! it seemed to work for a short period of time then it just stopped working

anyone have any ideas on what i could use ? i am going to get her in to see a dermatologist -- in the mean time any ideas ?

I had really bad acne throughout high school. Took about 6 months to clear it up.

I went to a dermatologist, and i got scripts for them.

One of them was Differen, only used at night before i slept. The other was Minocycline (oral pill twice a day). The other was a day time gel that i had to put on every morning, I forgot the name of that.

Took them for a good year to ensure my acne didn't come back, so far its been 2 years and clear face :)

Agreed. Very toxic and too many side effects.

I had Differen (sp) when I had bad acne from test and it worked great to clear it up. It's a topical cream. You do have to be careful with sun exposure with it, but if you use it at night after a shower it should really help, but take her to a derm and let them be the judge.

Take it easy there son. Do you even know the side effects? Have you ever used the shit yourself, if not shut your fucking mouth. Tell me the side effects. I used it for six months and never had one fucking side effect apart from dry lips. Derma's prescribe it every day for acne. If i thought it would be a danger to a young child i would never suggest it you fuck. Dont make out like im tryna hurt the kid.

My wife took it in high school and back then it was mandatory to be on birth control pills, or more specifically, she was on depo. Long story short, it messed up her natural hormone production and we just about couldn't have any kids. Her hormones were still messed up after our 3 kids, and she has now had a partial hysterectomy all of which directly related to the birth control.

She said the accutane itself just made her arms rash, but the depo is what really messed her up. Maybe things are different now with accutane, and you don't have to be on birth control whether they're sexually active or not, but just giving you a little more insight.

                  No

And look at how fucked up you are; enough said. There are more negatives to this product than possitive.

And Dr's give scripts ED for Xanax...What's your point? Doesn't make it a good product...And ED Dr's give scripts for Vicodins, Valiums, etc...So STFU:slap:

You having a "thought" is like a kid in the special olympics trying to win a shot put throw...Just never goes too far:)
