Why is it that all countries feel the need to say that taught something to the United States? If its not the Brits, its the Israeli saying their military is the only reason ours is any good against terrorist. Or the French. If something gets old, it is sure as hell this line of rhetoric from the high rollers of the world.

none of us, not even those in the military have been in that exact situation so when someone tries to speak for them and say it was nothing... who are they to say so?
Life is varying in it's degrees in that way, but as a general rule one naval offcer taking about another naval officer is much more similar than any non-military personel talking about it, regardless of how good a shot he or she may be. Keep that in mind, I would assume new military training includes news media coverage tactics, or better yet the complete neglect thereof. The worlds eyes can watch war where they so desire. There is no means for any military personel to feel I this situation that they can be portrayed negatively. I highly doubt the marksmen sent to killthose mfing pirates was a novice or even concerned he wouldn't make the shot. I would rather assume, from the reading/research I have done, he was more concerned with what he was going to eat at chow time. I think that was franks point, farbeit for me to imply though. :)

I wasn't poking fun at anyone on the forum more than myself, because it read like something a know-it-all would say. And I. Reference to your comment about the marines: (in a brian tone)

Now that I am off probation I am free to do what I please and since I have made a turn around in my athletic ability I may yet still join the military or I may not. However my inability to make a personal life decision doesn't seem like it should be any more your concern than how ill worded you rhetoric was.

I still think you're a great guy though. No one more fun to joke arond with, you just need to remember who the target of my jokes mainly is.

I don't know if frank has ever been in military combat, but I would assume if he has, as a soldier he know the pressure of trying to keep someone alive. But frank the marines have never, and will never, be as recognized as seals or even possibly rangers because they are the under dogs of the us military.

you are kind of a douche bag aren't you. just admit to the fact that you are envious of the seals. your attempt to prove that you are just as good as them has failed. aim the sights at yourself and pull the trigger playboy..
