I always thought the SBS were more like the marines of the us. You might have to cite that. Seals are generally more covert operations and sbs deal with beach assults and more common military actions than a seal team from my understanding. Maybe the SBS is smaller than I thought though. My point was only that people from other nations continually down talk American accomplishments.

IMO US military is still the best in terms of numbers, technology, field experience, training. Second is probably China, then Russia

UK can hold its own but you notice projects like Euro Fighter, seems to be aimed at bringing Europe together so that we get respected in numbers, problem is French don't like the English much, Germany is very french influenced and has been for a century, polish Hate Germany, Italians are too busy being corrupt lol!

Like it or not its true in this case, the US Navy Seals are just a copy of the Brit SBS, which is a sister spin off of SAS, but clearly the Navy Seals are probably completely different now than they started out, much more advanced.
