Boxing: Pacquiao and Hatton

I'm not too much of a boxing fan anymore but I have been keeping an eye on Pacquiao. Holy hell, he's a fucking animal. I've never seen a boxer like him!






Ricky the Hitman Hatton never stood a chance against a fighter Bob Arum said could very well be the greatest in the history of boxing.

From the opening bell, Manny Pacquiao peppered Hatton, undefeated at the 140lb division, with his much improved right and vaunted left.

Pacquiao decked Hatton with a left hook in the 1st round. The British boxer got up but a right straight sent him to the canvas again.

Hatton got up again but was clearly in trouble. He was able to hang on though until the bell.

Pacquiao unleashed a wicked left hook 10 seconds left in the 2nd round and it was all over for Hatton.

Pacquiao, the pound-for-pound king claimed his 5th title, Hatton's IBO light welterweight belt.

I'm not much of one either, my husband like it. We watched it at the neighbors- Holy hell Pacquiao IS an animal. Hatton fell like a ton of brick when he got knocked out. It was a little scary at first, because he was truly out cold for a good 5 minutes...

Hatton is a world class boxer but had a crucial flaw in holding his left arm too low leaving a crucial opening for the right hook, he was outclassed.

Mayweather junior and Pacquiao and Oscar are in a league of their own.

As for Hatton, pro 47 fights only two losses; Mayweather and Pac man. Its time he hung it up though, pac man isn't know as a knock out artist and neigher is mayweather but he got knocked out by both of them, I'm very proud of Hatton but he needs to retire and enjoy hiswealth and family.

The only reason Hatton lasted as long as he did is because he hung on him on the inside.
