That car can't have any rigidity, there is no way its spending the majority of its time on the track. Not to mention, they don't talk a lick about the suspension. Like I have always said, Mercs are great in a straight line. It is certainly not a BMW or Porsche. Merc still remains the fat bankers solution to sports car. Still would much rather have a GT3 RS.

I would certainly hope that it would be faster than a car 1/7 it's price. I wonder how it matches against a 911 GT3 RS! (a car 1/3 it's price)

On a merc board I goto someone paid 350K usd to be one of the first to have it.
I have no clue what the list price is but im sure its around 250K. What is that like 4 lil M3s???? The SL BS would make a M3 look like a toyota prius in looks and performance.

You brought up the M3 as a comparison, while I suggest the GT3 RS. I would like to see the track times it posted compared to the GT3. I didn't even see a B pillar on the car so there has to be tons of torsion on that body.

The car costs 364K:

...at a price of $364,800: a frankly insane amount of money, especially when you factor in the cost of employing your own personal weatherman to alert you to the three days a year when it's safe to actually drive it.

and for that you could own a Ferrari, or in Bouncers case a Gallardo.

Lets make this clear, like and dislike are two different things. I can't even tell if it is a convertible. My point being that every Merc AMG is just too wayward and uncontrollable on a track. Not a bad car, but not a car I would want.
