Damm Neighbours called the police on me

So yesterday I'm at work all day and all night, wife calles in the afternoon, the neighbours opposite, two guys living together, parked both cars in front our house leaving their own drive vacated, wife drives back with shopping, nowhere to park, can't park on next street or there's a fine, she asks them if they can either move or let her park in their drive, one says yes, the other says no fuck that we have freind coming over.

So I get back from work this morning and go over to have a freindly chat with them and tell the guy not to be so rude to my wife and in future and please don't park outside our house and the one that wears the trousers (they're gay couple BTW) says he'll do exactly the same thing next time, I'm like 'look were neighbours everyone else on the street gets on and compromises for each other why you have to be an asshole about it? He goes to slam the door and I put out my hand to stop it hitting me, he can't shut it because he's too weak and when he gives up I accidentally go forward and end up in his house in his face and so he reaches for the phone and calls the police all the while his boyfreind is telling him he's over reacting, cops come and agree that he's a dickhead but there's nothing they can do about the parking problem.

Not exactly, the houses on my side have front gardens, not driveways, some people have converted their garden to a driveway but a bunch of us haven't because we like having a garden and we all get along and are curtious leaving each other a space on the street outside outside our houses.

These guys live on the opposite side of the road and down along a bit, they have a drive that they could have used, but instead they parked on the street outside our house, left their own driveway vacated, my wife couldn't park anywhere and when she went to speak to them one of them was real rude, thats what really bothers me.

Its not illegal for them to park on the street outside our house, just selfish and when they new it was causing a problem they were just like, well tough. The ass hole guy is a prison officer but acts like he's a police officer, skinny little prick.


We will probably just have a driveway built in time now then it is illegal for them or anyone to block our drive way, this will mean that others will have it done too and the will be a row of driveways instead of gardens. Just a shame one asshole has to spoil it for everyone

There was a moment there when one of them went in the other room and the gobby one was just in front of me being ignorant and I thought, hmm no witness his word/my word, then my wife arrived:fight:

I get it, Its on the street but everyone in the neighborhood has a common knowdlege that in front of your house is your spot and in front of there house is their spot.
Ya I say he is a dick but I also say becareful he will press charges in a heart beat if you slap him around. This Is a perfect case where you need to call in a favor from one of your friends to go over and stomp his ass.

I didn't read what Incredibles post as a word for word conversation between his wife and the gay. Besides, its more like another catty woman fought with his wife than some guy disrespected her.

Gay or not when another guy is nasty to your wife and swears at her and she's gonna see him around again and worry what he might say you can't just leave it. The fact that just as she arrived I'd overpowered him with the door and he felt he had to call the cops was enough, even the police officer was rolling his eyes when he turned up and agreed that the guy was a dickhead, we just laugh at it now, we have an asshole neighbour but we can live with it.:hibb:
