Is AIDS a man made holocaust?

I'm not vouching for this article but it does make for interesting reading and I would like your thoughts and opinion;

I voted naturally but not in the natural selection sense. More like a by product of human worlds mixing with nature. If you start the conspiracy theory of HIV/AIDS being created then you have to through ever mass illness in with it. Also some scientist are currently investigating if there is any direct link between HIV and AIDS. It appears that no one can find the original source of this connection and it seems to be more of a "best guess" of doctors at some point and it just stuck.

I'm more of the opinion, it doesn't matter how it occured. What matters is how we move forward and over come it. I don't believe our scientific community is allowed the freedom necessary to solve serious illness because we allow companies to patent DNA and other human information. There is a serious lack of free-flow information on these topics and because of that we will never find a cure.

AIDS is a virus, it may have muted from a fairly harmless one to the dreaded one it is now. Some scientist believe that it may eventually mutate to a less harmful virus, or may even mutate itself out of existence, as is common with viruses.
