Why do they still make phone books?

Or at least, why do they still hand them out to every house. Maybe some people don't have internet, but there should just be a place where you can pick up a new phone book. Every time I get one at my house it goes straight in the trash.

These days when I get a phone book I tear it in a half before I throw it out, I saw an episode of mythbusters that showed the trick of phone book tearing it is so easy and it's a great party trick.:D
Yeah I wish there was a way to stop those junk mail that comes everyday.

we got them delivered here yesterday too. all 12 of them are still sitting there, not one person has taken them.
