I'm going to LV with a girlfriend next month for my birthday. Can't wait - we're going to have a blast. I've been to LV a couple of times before, but wanted to see if anyone's ever stayed at the Luxor or the Monte Carlo? Also, which clubs are recommended?

Lavo at The Palazzo.....Tao at Venetian....Mixx at "The Hotel" Mandalay Bay....Tryst at The Wynn........Pure as listed above - popular and crowded.....LAX at Luxor is nothing special....Comment

Stay at the Luxor, that ends of the strip stays alive all night, the other end of the strip is the old bastard hangout. The Luxor has the RA which is one of the hottest clubs in LV, right accross the road is the MGM Grand which has a good club, and you can take a cab a few blocks to the Hardrock Cafe.Comment

I stayed at MGM and loved it, I went to the Luxor and wasn't impressed. The casino at the Luxor is just lacking atmosphere to me.Comment

So, as I sit here anxiously awaiting my flight back home, lol...
Had a blast out here - met some real cool people and really didn't spend much money for as much entertainment as I had! Ahh, the joy of being a woman. :P
Went to Moon, LAX, Coyote Ugly, Hawaiian Tropic, and TAO, and spent about 10 hrs at the Blackjack table in Hooters last night lol. Saw the O show - awesome.
Turbo - you're so right about the casino at the Luxor. The atmosphere is just so blah. Felt the same way about their pool.
All in all, killer trip! (Minus the part about my gf not speaking to me today, lol) :rolleyes:Comment

It's really stupid, IMO. After 3 nights of partying, she wasn't really into it anymore (her words). She said she wanted to go to Hooters and do some gambling. When she lost her money, I was up more than twice what I put in - I didn't want to stop playing. We were having a really good time. She sat around for a bit and then said I was being a dick, blah blah blah. I asked her what she wanted to do, she got pissy and said "nothing now, it's too late." She was ready to leave. Umm, ok....well I'm not lol. I had no desire to leave JUST to go back to my hotel?? So she left me there (no big deal). This morning I apologized, thanked her for coming, told her I didn't want the vacation to end on a sour note, etc - nothing. She won't say a fking word to me.Comment
