for a modernized and civilized Islamic country such as Iran, this is truly wrong. I don't expect people to be barbaric with each other.

uh... no dumb shit. For the friends and family that have be to Tehran, its civilized and very modern. Once your travel 50 miles out of Tehran its like villages and shit, not as modernized and civilized.

Dude, a hijab is now optional to wear in Iran, along with mini skirts, tube tops, halter tops, etc...

If you go TODAY, its none of this shit. Stupid elections messed everything up

Are you for real? You don't think the men and women of Iran aren't tired of living under Ahmedinejhad's regime? I understand what you are saying, sort of- like if it's not broke, don't fix it...But, do you really think the citizens of country ENJOYED their lack of civil liberties? It may be modernized, but it's far from civilized:noo:

The people I have talked too, and the families that left Iran that came to the states didn't mind him. With every leader there are consequences. He is not the best President out there, but at least he took care of Iran for a while and brought them up.

Do I believe there is a time for change? HELL YES.

I am sure Ahmadinejade rigged those ballets or paid off the dudes or something to get them to say he won.

Before this whole election madness, people were civilized in Iran.

You do understand that whats going on in Iran is because the people of Iran wanted so bad to get out from the grips of ahmadinejad and his suppressive government. its not just because the election was rigged and thats it. its because the election was rigged and the people of iran do not want him.
