nokia symbian all the way. the 30 minutes i've been using this temporary phone and i'm already finding ways to blow it up. stupid piece of shit keeps connecting to the internet and tries to get me to sign up for Xpress Mail. anyone else feel my pain? i like symbian and the blackberry os the best. apple is okay (even though i'm all for macs). just for my knowledge of people who are avid members of the cell phone community, what phone(s) do you have?

I do love the blackberry, but its mobile internet is shit compared to the iPhone. My blackberry is otherwise so much more versatile.

I said it before and I'll say it again...there isn't a smart phone out that can touch the iPhone's hardware or software. Anyone that says other wise has not taken the time to dig into the iPhone, imo.

This is coming from someone who is not a big Apple fan and does not own an iPhone.

I've been taking a good deal of time to compare the most popular smart phones, look at the pros and cons and it always comes back to the iPhone toppping them all.

I'm just a cheap bastard and can't justify spending the $200/mo for data/phone plans for 2 people.

name a phone and i've probably owned it at some point. i am a huge apple fanatic. the iphone is nice but it's mainly because of the applications. if you want a REAL phone, go blackberry or nokia. if you want a phone and device to pass time on, then iphone is the best thing to get.

it's the tilt. ATT commissioned out HTC to make an ATT phone. piece of shit is slow. the only good thing is the battery life but then again, i haven't been pushing this phone like my nokia.

Of course the applications make the iPhone what it is but it's not just a matter of 'passing time' it's the fact that you basically have a fully functional computer in your pocket.

real phone means easy to make calls, text messaging (both standard and multimedia) is easy and simple. not having to worry about your phone slowing down. screen adjusts to your needs (in terms of lighting, most nokias have a light sensor), easy to use keypad and the ability to customize all aspects. battery life is another one. i guess everyone has a list as to what they see as important but i think i covered the basics. but then again, i don't doubt someone will say something to prove me wrong.
