I'm really good friends with one of my ex's in California from my SC days. We broke up on good terms because the long distance thing wasn't going to work. We still talk today and when things are seriously bad we give one another a call. Example, when I lost my job...she talked to me for a while. Well, shes getting married and my training partner thought it was odd that we were that close.

I don't see anything wrong with it, we care a lot about each other and what happens to the other. Theres not even sexual tension.
