when i worked at best buy i was on my feet for about 6-7 hours at a time without a break. it isn't too bad once the numbing sensation kicks in.

the store my parents own and that i slave at? i'm on my feet all day receiving shipments and stocking up all day there too. so if someone complains about standing up for 1 hour, i will punch them out. just saying.

I should have added that I don't see it being that much cheaper to see it working for hour+ long flights. Can I do it? Sure. But is it worth the cheaper ticket :dunno:

Is it worth it to you as a traveler to do it? How much less expensive would it be to fly people like that? Would we realize 70% savings, no. Flying is a big enough hassle, I can't imagine ever doing it if I had to stand on the plane while it was happening. Not to mention all the standing you do at the airport before hand, the frustration of bag handling. Totally not worth the 25% savings they will pass on to me. No thanks.
