So this plane costs an absolute fortune due to all the R&D integrated and spends circa 30 hrs in the repair shop for every 1 hour in flight.

but

Its the only fighter that could survive the new Russian S300 surface to air which Russia have already sold to Iran its just yet to be delivered.

Apparently when Iran get the S3000, F15/16 and Aircraft carriers could not get in their airspace without being at risk.

Cos we've got thousands of men in Afganistan and undoubtedly would send a bunch off shore of Iran if it all kicked off, we're big stakeholders with a much higher proportionate representation of our people out there that other crappy European countries that sit on most of their money and contribute much less personel.
