My work, as a whole, is a pathetic group

I'm sure this isn't that uncommon but... on Friday there was an email sent out at my work from the front desk that there were 12 pies at a reduced price at the cafe (from the little restaurant thing inside my work). In the amount of time it took me to message my wife to see if she wanted me to go see what they have, finish what I was doing and get half way up the hall; People are already coming back in saying they were sold out. The guy at the front desk said it was like Pamplona about 15 seconds after he sent the email out.
