So I started taking adderall today

We will see of my doctor thinks its worth working on or maybe a more appropriate drug or whatever. The work issue comes first right now. But if my weeks and weekends make me bipolar :) not of it may be worth it.

So I'm off the adderall and will be starting Wellbutrin tomorrow. It will probably take a couple weeks to totally take effect, but I will be taking it every morning.

Good luck bro, I know a few people who have used wellbutrin w/success - some with more serious mental issues and have not had success(not trying to take away from what you are dealing with), hope it goes well for you. Keep us posted.

We talked about upping my dose because the help was wearing off about mid day. That may make the differnce in the weekdays and weekends worse though, plus as everyone knows the higher and longer you go with adderall the more dependency can develop. So I opted to give this a try.

It is - for what's it worth it does seem to work well for ADD / other things. I just can't stand behind any ssri/snri because I've seen the shit it put me thru, Shibby you will know within 1-3 days if you are having adverse affects to the anti-depressent. Just make sure your wife knows the deal - I had no1 and I almost took a plunge because paxil had me like a zombie, didn't care if I lived or died - shit's fucked.

That's it's marketed use. It's also used for ADD and for addiction help (stop smoking and stuff).
