What do you recommend? Seriously, not trying to instigate shit - just curious, do you think music builds you up or breaks you down? I listen to a ton of music but none of it doesn't have relevance in my life - that's basically where I draw the line, hence why I dislike so much bs evangelical music.

explain to me how black life was better before rap came along? lmfao. your point is flawed. go watch fox news some more hillbilly. :retard:Originally posted by decadecadeca View PostI'm talking about the black singers that push that thug life ghetto bullshit.
They've done more to hurt black people with that fucking "keep it real" lie than any white man ever has.

if your point is truth defend it.Originally posted by decadecadeca View PostMy point is pure truth.
Nothing for you to do but accept it.
answer my question.
rap started in the 70's in New York. explain to me how life was better for blacks before rap and how rap has since made it worse. you sound angry when you made your original post in the thread so I assume you have strong feelings based on facts correct?

Explain to me how rap music has HELPED the black community.
You have an intelligent black man like Clarence Thomas who should be admired and emulated but the ghetto culture calls him an uncle Tom and a sellout.
Then you have a thug piece of shit like the rappers you're listening to telling kids to keep it real, keep slingin rock, solve your problems with a gun, etc....and they're neighborhood heroes.
Fucked up all the way around man.
Get an education, change your life, break the cycle of violence and get the fuck out of the ghetto as fast as you can. That should be the only message they rap about.

there is tons of rap talking about exactly what you are saying(regarding breaking the cycle etc) - the fact is some people like it some don't. I don't, I understand being a product of an environment and also just making stupid fucking choices: what are you gonna do bro, drop basketballs all over bronx or drop crack rock - you tell me who has a better chance of making it out when their isn't even PE or enough books in the class rooms to begin with.Originally posted by decadecadeca View PostExplain to me how rap music has HELPED the black community.
