I am talking about real campin not that campground shit. This past weekend road the quad out into the middle of nowhere left my cellphone and crap at home, did not even have a clock, had no clue what time it was at all, just brought a ton of food and drank water out of a natural spring, it was great, like getting back to the basics. just cooked food on a fire for two days and did not have to deal with anyones shit, I really needed to get away from it all, the stress just went away while I was there.

The nice part is it is about a 20 minute drive to the trail entrance then 1.5 hours out to my camping spot, it is nearly impossible to get out to it, so you do not have to worry about seeing people, it is on a ledge between to mountains with a river running through it, you feel like civilization is gone. I am not a people person so it is great.Originally posted by the art of war View Postone of the best things to do imo, I'm already planning my trip for the fall cannot wait at all.

exactly the same way. i can get my hands dirty out in the forest and hiking etc.. but at the end of the day i need a shower.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostI'm all for 4-wheelers, air boats, etc -- but as soon as it's time for sleep I'm heading to the hotel lol
thats why i loved when we went up the Adirondacks, up in the mountains on a lake in a old cabin that had been updated with shower etc..
