nobody said sensationalism is the same as a slant. a slant is reporting news in a more republican way or democratic way etc..

Fox is entertainment news, definitely sensationalises at times. They do dare to say things others don't and it can be fun. Some of the stuff they say seems right wing but some of it just dares to say what the silent majority dont which is good. Yes many of the viewers are probably a bit right wing and its well known that the south has more right wingers so hence probably alot of the viewers are from the south. But I think there is probably a fairly big contingent from middle America that feels like they've been forgotten by other channels.

For me the debates are a breath of fresh air but yes I do take them with a pinch of salt. Just watching Glenn Beck now talking about the black panthers for example, showing them in militant uniform marching and that guy Farakhan preaching that Obahma is the messiah. There saying that even with evidence of the BP's being militant the guy that decdides when the state should prosecute isn't doing anything there but is going after the CIA over its interrogation methods.

They draw too simple conclusions and emit reasoning and facts and sometimes it seems this is because they don't want them to get in the way of a good story but other times it does appear its because they cut through the bullshit and get to what its all really about. It is an interesting channel to watch and some stuff like the Jaycee Lee story they will no doubt do a very good job on, and like when soldiers get killed and their families cal in, they go the extra mile in giving condolences to the families and stuff.
