I never watched any of the videos, I just had read on the internet about all the things people had found out.

In the video you posted the guy's comments about the series suppose to be about Bear being dropped off and making it back to civilization is what I remember about it also. I think I attempted to watch the first one, and I could just tell from the camera work that it wasn't just him out there with a camera. I do believe in the first few episodes that they tried to make it appear that he was alone and setting up a camera on a tripod and surviving in the wild.

I also believe what the guy on youtube stated about the serious coming out with a disclaimer after all of this shit got out.

And I didn't think the show sucked because it was staged bullshit, I just thought it was shit because it is.
