How are they so smart?
After we put our Rott down in Jan, we got a Puggle from a stray rescue. Cutest little thing. Anyway, about 3 weeks ago, I started taking them for a run when I get home from the gym. And, doggone it- the 1st week hadn't even passed fully, and as soon as I walk in the door, they start whining, and have every since!! I don't know what I'm gonna do when it gets cold outside!
And onto my next question- the Puggle is potty trained, crate trained, can sit, give paw, lay down, and even let go of the toy when we are playing. The only thing he still does is 1) gives you paw when you really don't want to (just cause he's excited and wants attention, I think), and 2) will not stop jumping. We have a little bit of time to work with him on these issues, but any ideas or successes that any of you have had?
