My Godfather is dying of the same thing...Just went and visited him on Sunday w/ the baby. 6 months ago he was 50lbs heavier...he stopped his treatments then as well, after doing chemo & radiation for at least a year. CT scan didn't show it had spread, but he knew it had. Man, cancer is just unbelievable.
I tried to carry on as I normally would in conversation, but what do you say to them in that situation?? My parents were there a week earlier, and he didn't get out of bed for them, but did for me. But, it's not like you can say "what are you up to", "or see you later"
