So, whos afraid of death?

Interesting concept, death. When you die, the world ends. When you die, if there is a god, how do you live forever? (The concept of never ending time)

Deep, basically disturbing, thoughts. Now, I'm leaving the thread because my tummy hurts thinking about it.

It depends on how and why you die, I have seen a lot of sad unfortunate deaths, I don't fear death. I do however fear dieing of something stupid like a random shooting or something I have no control over, or cancer shit like that but death itself No

it's not that i'm scared. it's the fact if i actually start thinking to myself or start thinking about it, it's like "what really does happen?" i'm way too young to be thinking about this anyway. i just remind myself i still have a good long life ahead of me.

agreed but i get the feeling that even when your 50 you wont be thinking about it.

No. I'm not in a rush to die, but I look forward to it in all honesty. It's the only way you I'll truly know if there is "the other side" and/or if I will get to see the people that I so dearly miss. I am scared of how I will die.

I am definitely scared of old age. No men on my father's side made it past 60 for 4 generations so I figure I do not have to worry about old age anyways.

I'm not afraid of death - but im terrified of leaving friends and family - and since that goes hand in hand with deaht i voted for death but try to act tough, although it's not me, just dont care if anything happens, only dont wnt to hurt ppl.

Why are we so arrogant on getting old...I want to get old and experience life....I'm scared of death...We were born with a death date...I do believe that the day I die, will be by a car accident...Have had too many brushes with it....From riding to regular accidents with my cars....I would love to live until I'm 100yrs old:)

But I believe my destiny will end before I turn 40...Sorry..It's something I've been plagued with, for a lack of better terms.....I have had too many "visions" letting me know I wont make it past 40...Call me:wack:I could care less:)

My feelings exactly. I am not afraid of dying as long as it's not a long torcheres death. I hate the idea of people getting killed everyday by some crazy person torchering(sp) them cutting their limbs and shit like that.
Since there is no getting away from it, I hope that we all have a merciful death.

Im very Religious but I am scared to die. I dont want to die. I just lost a friend last wkend in a motorcycle accident and I thought of all he missed out just this wkend....not to mention Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays etc....

Maybe he is having a better time where he is though........

Who really knows. Scary to me and not much scares me.
