This dude is a pure genius. I love it. I understood everything and i was laughing so damn hard.

Brian Morel's exam (Yes Brian is Jennica Morel's younger brother)

    :rofl::rofl:

that shit's awesome LOL - dna explain this to me, big bang theory, theory of evolution - aren't these all just hypothesis ? Tech speaking we can't reproduce any of the environments to recreate the experiment. I don't know much about this stuff - just curious about that one thing.

We covered a good amount in Genera Biology II. There is a lot of information, so i will compress it into a small amount.

Once upon a time billions of years ago when Earth was at its origin, it is believed the Earth was very unstable and we had free chemicals flying all over the place and reacting with one another. In the air we had oxygen and the ground was giving off organic compounds (CHO). There was a lot of heat and the temperature, and they are said to be be at boiling temperature because there was no water present. As lava poured out of the volcano's it never let the earth cool.

Plus the air was very unstable. There was constant lightning storms and the electron configuration was not correct and always changing. Unstable molecules running around is no fun.

This part is very weird and the book nor my professor talked about this to make sense, we're supposed to believe it: One day because of the unstable atmosphere, the oxygen molecules and the hydrogen molecules bonded due to the presence of heat; catalyst in this case (lightening in the air and hot grounds caused by the volcano's). Due to the abundance of free molecules, everything just started to react and bond. Thus, water filled the Earth and cooled off the atmosphere. The water also cleared the lightening and made the atmosphere stable by making O3.

There was a famous chemist that recreated a chemical reaction to prove how life was made. Because of the cooling process that this happened. Heat got trapped with a series of other organic and inorganic compounds that made the first amino acid acid and continued to make other strands with eventually made a bacteria that was able to survive without oxygen.

This directly lead to evolution and the survival of the fittest. Only the strongest can survive the harsh conditions and they lead on to reproduce other strands. Evolution HAPPENS AT RANDOM, let me repeat that: EVOLUTION HAPPENS AT RANDOM. A specie does not evolve to adapt to a surrounding. Only the survival of the fittest does.

That is how plants moved up from living underwater to living on land. The whole biology of a plant is circulated around genetic mutations that caused to survive, and mate with other plants (that were survival of the fittest),

The theory of evolution rides along these lines. Out of each era, survival of the fittest survives and gives offspring to other. The mutations are random and they do not always make a specie adapt better to their surrounding.

Hope this helps. Sorry for writing a book.

YA YA YA Bouncer is going to come around and ask for a short version. Well this is the shortest version out there in terms of non-science people can understand :D

If you want a better understanding. Go and read the two chapters that are in my bio book. Trust me, that isn't fun :noo:

Ya I don't buy it either. There just isn't much evidence to prove it.

Anyway, i am just busy with school man. Haven't gone to the gym in about week and a half. The first 2 weeks of class I was doing cardio 2-3 times a week after class for about 30. Dropped my weight fast, now i rebounded thanks to a shitty diet.

I have a physics exam on Friday and than a Chemistry exam a week from today.

Sucks dude, but its life and what can you do about it?

              Whats up with you?

lol... I hear ya man. I am already seeing pieces of my hair in books. Going bald is awesome

So far major is chemistry. Minor is biology. I am get that bio minor right away, I am a few credits short.

As far as chem is considered. Too much shit going on. I finished my general chem courses and my organic chem courses. Fuckin Analytical chemistry is a bitch.

I don't give TWO FLYING FUCKS about the solubility of a reaction, nor the the charge balance :pissed:

Are you serious? There is a HUGE amount of evidence for evolution. And you don't need to depend on paleontology either. Evolution is happening in our time as well. Read "The Beak of the Finch" by Jonathan Weiner.

If your teachers haven't pointed this out, they should be flogged.

Also, the evidence for the big bang is OVERWHELMING.

Spectroscopic observations have shown that galaxies are receding from each other with velocities that are proportional to how far apart they are, consistent with a primordial explosion that is causing the universe to expand.

Moreover, consistent with theory, a cosmic background radiation has been experiemntally observed whcih corresponds to the leftover radiation from the big bang.

The real mystery is not whether the big bang or evolution is real, but why your teachers haven't clearly articulated this to you.

a more obvious sign is something we all have dealt with. wisdom teeth. our jaws are becoming smaller and the removal of wisdom teeth is being more and more common because of this. i just met the 2nd person in my life who had no wisdom teeth at all. she claims to be "Evolutionarily Superior" but she only says that because she's the professor.
