I think the curve gives it away as being fake - unless there was crazy winds that day.

IF it's real, the curve could simply be an optical illusion of angles. What looks like a curve ball is actually the angle you see the ball go from and outward motion to a downward motion. A side angle would show just a smooth curve from point of release to the point of contact.
