it takes less physical work that what you recommend. it takes time yes but it requires nothing for you to do. this is why i say get it started and then go to the gym, golf, shower, bed etc.. come back and its done.

just like rado displayed, the anti virus didnt catch his virus. even if the anti virus does catch it, you never know exactly what kind of damage the virus has done.

most tech guys like to do a fresh install every once in awhile even if they dont have a virus. years of everyday use slows the computer down.

Took me about 3hrs to complete everything since I had to DL all of my drivers from Dell's site....But it's nice and clean now.

and if you had the disk drivers that came with your computer you wouldnt have had to download them.

Yep. A fresh install isn't the fastest, but it certainly resolves all issues and lets you start on a clean slate.

It is time consuming if yo have a lot of programs and updates to do (drivers on the disks usually become outdated pretty quick).

i wasnt talking about updating drivers. i was saying, you have a driver disk that will get you all setup. you can update a driver anytime.
