no dick. you reinstall OS. then reinstall drivers from driver disk. then get online and run windows update. all the drivers and updates will be right there for you to install. press ok and walk away.

Updating your drivers after a reinstall shouldn't take a damn hour. Drivers are pretty small files, so downloading and installing should be fast process.

If you bought a brand computer then the drivers are all on a disc, some will be outdated, but most will be fine.

If you built your computer then you should have the driver disc that came with the components(vid card, sound card, etc..).

Next time you do a reinstall and find drivers that have been updated, just make yourself a disc that contain the updated drivers. Simple

The bottom line is after I do a complete reformat it takes a couple of hours to get my computer back to where I want it; simply because of the time it takes to reinstall all of the programs that I need or want on my machine. Some are on disc and some I don't bother putting on disc and I download from the site.
