It depends. Does your DVD player support .avi playback?

honestly i doubt it will because not only is it avi but it requires divx codecs for me to play it back on my computer. so even if the dvd player plays the avi file, i doubt it will have the codex needed.

i will just have to watch the episodes on the my computer.

How bout this, hook your laptop up to your TV with a HDMI cable and then you can watch the shows on your t.v.

Or better yet just get a damn PS3 already then all he needs is a memory card.

get Handbrake and convert them into a format you know your dvd player supports.

With the stuff you need to do you're just better off wwatching them on your computer.

You can download a simple program from any torrent site called "convertxtodvd" it will convert any AVI, WMV ect.. to DVD format. The program is super is easy to use just drag and drop you files into the program window

Most of the time they are in the file folder or written into .avi file.
