Funny story...
So, as I watched the boring demise of my beloved Cardinals this past Saturday, I started BSing w/ the older gent & his wife behind me. He tells me he's an attorney who works downtown, etc. who actually works in the same building my dad worked at when we first moved here. We talk a little while longer, come to find he went to law school at Notre Dame. So, we start BSing some more about the team, and I tell him how pumped I am for the USC game this Saturday...Now for the best part
He proceeds to tell me his brother in law just had a death in the family, and probably will want to be getting rid of his tickets- FOR FACE VALUE!!!!!!! :clapback:
So, I give him my #, and he says he'll call Monday. No call. I'm sad, deflated, whatever. :fight: I had a couple of beers at teh game, and didn't get him name. Well, being the smart chica that I am, I googled the guys law firm & Notre Dame. LOW & BEHOLD- his picture pops up! I email him to see if the tickets are still available. He emails back, and says YES!!!
We leave for South Bend tomorrow afternoon!!! I'm SO FREAKING PUMPED!!!
