Al the big names want to pull out. F1 chairman has been pushing out the people who created the sport over the past few years in order to increase his profit. The field isn't covered by the best because of all the restrictions these days.

You also don't get to see the drivers best skills, take Button for example. Definitely one of the best, but the spread in terms of cars is so wide he loses out. The sport is changing a lot.

Vettel, Hamilton, Massa, alonso, kubica, and webber are all much more skilled then button as a driver.

as far as the sport "changing". it is always changing and evolving. that is part of what F1 is.

This has happened before, where teams have had to use their leverage. More frequently than when I was young.

I think Button is a much better driver than you give him credit for.

And as for it changing. I didn't mean change in the sense that every sport evolves and changes. The mindset is different, I dunno. Maybe I'm just not as in tune to it, but it all seems so fake lately.
