good point, I take it back after thinking about that, everything starts somewhere.

exactly what made me change my train of thought.

Chemistry and bio-chemistry, mostly chemistry because I know whats going on. Biochemistry can get me confused if it gets deep in.

For example, today in lab we found the determination of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) by an Iodometric Back-Titration.

I like to watch chemistry when someone is doing a bunch of cool stuff. Like when a teacher is showing it off. It's pretty amazing at times. The technical level doesn't fascinate me that much though.

lol... Ya I am learning a little bit of the "showing off" stuff now.

Most of the cool reactions that involves multiple color changes is done with Redox Titrations. We had a lab last week that did exactly this. Its called "Determination of Oxalate by Titration with Potassium Permanganate."

KMnO4 is dark purple, and with titrated with Oxalate it goes all over the color charts. It went from Dark purple, to black, to blood red, and than in an instant it went clear, than slowly to pink. When it hit pink we know the titration is complete.

Pretty cool stuff, even I was amused by it.

the fact that their are probably more galaxy's then grains of sand on earth is amazing to me. each galaxy could have a planet or planets with living creatures. the scope of it all is amazing. traveling at the speed of light for 1 million years and you would still not even be 1% into your journey into space. the colors, the way gravity gets moved, the way light bends in space is just awesome.
              +1, I've always been a space cadet.

Oh I see. You're so desperate to feel like you have one up on me, you try to mock me for having fun with the thread and referencing a TV show. Once again you are going from intolerable to just sad.

So do you have any scientific interests or do you just go around looking for opportunities to mock?
