  • What kind of boots you guys have?

I need a pair to wear with jeans. Not cowboy boots either. more like doc martins or something. I have a pair of work style boots I normaly wear with my "cheap" jeans but not sure it will go with my "nice" jeans.
I have seen people wear dress shoes with jeans but thats not realy my style. any help?

I have 2 pairs of Thorogood boots. They are very well made and best of all, are American-made. There are several brands of American-made boots that I always consider first. For example, Thorogood, Chippewa, Danner, Double H, Abilene, etc.

For example, look at metboots.com and search for USA-made boots.

This is one of the Thorogood boots I have - model # 814-4550.

I didnt' read the whole original message. Sounds like you are looking for more dressy boots. My mistake.....

For that, you have a few options:

            1. Get some nice chukkas. For example, these:

Chukka, Chukkas, Chukka Shoes - Hunting Shoes, Hunting Shoe, Outdoor Gear, Custom Made Shoes, Hunt Shoe, Hunters Shoe, Hiking Shoe, Tracking Shoes

            2. Get some Allen Edmonds shoes. Something in a tobacco, dark brown or burgundy. DO NOT get black.

            Maybe the A-E Calhoun?

            3. How about some nice Frye boots. I like this one - the Frye Brando.

Depending on the cut of jean you wear, sometimes it's hard to wear boots (and have them look right). I like Frye boots, but they may be too bulky, depending. Why not slip on type dress shoes? They can be casual, not shiny or patent leather.

The Frye boots are in Scrumhalf's post.

Why do you want to wear a work boot with "nice" jeans? Stop being redneck! :disagree:
