here is the thing with me and music. i can have 2 very similar songs in front of me in terms of style, beat and rhythm, but i can very well love one and hate the other. i just never got into sublime.

i like good lyrics but you could have the world's best lyrics with the crappiest beats and the song would suck. think about it this way, when you hear a song at a party, club or retaurant that catches your attention, is it the beat or the words? you don't focus on the words until you actively listen.
