where did I ever say either one was a choice ? Stop putting words in my mouth because it helps you degrade me lol. Subconscious is not an active choice imo, it's not something to be fixed either. Personally, I believe you might as well be saying it is a choice. You are saying that being gay is a societal issue rather than a biological issue. You are WRONG. And I knew I should have stayed out of this, because you are right. I am not making my point clearly and I am not trying to put words in your mouth...but I am. I get a little heated over this debate as I have seen how homosexuality affects people first hand.

I think Chris is trying to point out that all these things are what people are and not what they choose to be. That if you put restrictions, be it marriage, adoption... to gays or interracial; you are worried about them following the rules of your life to make you happy and not them.

Im not spinning what you are saying, I'm trying to make you see the inaccuracies in what you have been taught / believe. That maybe, just maybe, you have only seen one side of the issue. If you don't care about it, you shouldn't care that gay men marry or have children.
