I'm not impressed with the mustang engineering apart from the engine, as I illuded to. The Veyron is great in a straight line, but for the massive cost of it its dissapointing overall and is really just a showpiece fastest car in a straight line.

All things considered the MacF1 was a real milestone and to be honest I'm more impressed with it even today over all than either that mustang or the bugatti. And yeah absolutely I think it would take either car apart in a race.

You just don't know about racing bro because you never done it, you read magazines and stats but its not the same thing.

See you Bugatti there, put your foot flat to the floor and the tank is empty in 70 miles or some shit, how the fuck is that gonna race??????

Your MacF1 can get 25mpg, in a car that can do 231 mph and 0-60 in 3.2 thats fucking astounding. 1994 technology bro!!!!!!!!!!

And no I'm not saying if you drive it flat out it will get that but still.

All in all those other cars are just freak shows, the Bugatti is nothing more than a modern day AC Cobra.
i agree with everything you are saying accept ...

      #1 i dont read magazines.

#2 i bet i have been around a track in the last year more times then you. and before you ask.. a proper track. LIME ROCK PARK

the mclaren was and still is impressive. but so is the bugatti and it can go around a track pretty fast as well.

i have one issue. if the mclaren was so good around a track why was it never really tested around any significant track? where is the nurburgring lap time?

Don't know the answer to that about Nurburg but I think the GTR version raced Le mans. As for the production car I really don't know, I mean in 1994 it was without question the fastest thing around so why wouldn't they!

knew it wouldn't last my lil NJ turnpiker

Thing is sometimes something is built that really works, and its difficult to better, thats whats Happened with the Mac F1.

Take my car for example, a simple 330i M sport. BMW are quite a technology driven sales machine, but that engine block remained virtually unchanged for 7 years in BMW cars, while all the other engine sizes and variations had almost yearly changes.

Its all about balance in a car, increase one thing you have to change others

sure, that car was an amazing achievement.

but the bugatti is the concord moment of car.

again, listen to this little fact. the mclaren can get up to 100mph before the buggati sets off and the bugatti will still beat it to 200mph. tell me that isnt amazing.

Sounds like bullshit if I'm being honest, didn't look that way on the top gear race and they started the same time! the bigmac was killing the bug most of the way

the mclaren starts to really die at around 150mph. stops climbing and slowly crawls. the bugatti dosent. it only starts to crawl around 230 to get to its top speed of 250 something.

anywhere from 0-150 mph they are very similar. but that last 100 mph the mclaren is like you VS Cutler on stage. cant even be considered the same species.

call me racing car driver from now on.

1/4 mile track is a drag strip. usually you can see some trailers with people sitting out side drink a natty ice with a nascar flag. :retard:
