PS3 - 360 Release dates

MW2 was designed on 360, so I wouldn't go buy a PS3 just to play it.

Cheap? Wii's were always $250.

The time i was looking for them, they were constantly sold out. Every store was sold out, and shipments were rare. So when my xbox initially broke, i was pissed, and wanted something to kill time with, and plus my little brother kept nagging me for a wii.

I looked online and people were selling them for $300 plus so i said screw that.
Also during that time, my friend would get them from amazon at $249.99 and buy as many as he could and than sell them on craigslist for $300-$350.
Almost instantly, amazon sold out and I wasn't anywhere near a computer to buy one. My buddy had bought 4 of them, so i said I'll give you exactly what you paid for, for one of them. He said $250, and I said DEAL!

At the store it is $249.99 plus tax. I basically saved the tax money. Its not cheap cheap, but i paid a little less for them compared to everyone else.

Now the price on wii's are $199.99, and you can find them everywhere, lol

i can say this as someone that has played both and does not have either anymore. no fanboy shit.

i like that the ps3 comes with everything. wifi built in, hard drive built in, blu-ray etc.. its a much more stable/reliable system.

you gotta buy the stupid wifi adapter with the 360. for the base model 360 you gotta but a hard drive.

the 360 has better online service, no doubt about it. but that is the only advantage. i am not much of an online guy anymore. its kinda fun sometimes but then i cant help but feel kinda gay. especially with those gay fucking headphones and shit. fuck that, never again. lol.

i feel like the PS3 is the grownups system and the 360 is the kids online box. :)

I have both, and this is what i have to say:

The only good PS3 is the 2nd generation ones. They have Playstation 2 and 1 playback, memory card slots that support (Memory stick duo, SD card, etc...) 120gb HD (I think).

I have the slim, and its nothing special, ya its nice, but i wish it had more features.
PS3's have built in wifi, Internet browser, large hard drive, standard HDMI port, reliable, also more of an adult set up


Xbox i think is the best just because the games load up faster than the ps3, doesn't lag as much, and 1080p still owns over the ps3's 1080i. Sure memory sucks, its more prone to failure, scratches your disks, pay to play online, setup is more for kids, and its loud.


I don't mind my PS3, i know its always there and it will never fail.

I have gone through 2 xbox 360's, and it sucks. I had to pay for the 1st one to get fixed because of an internal error (1 red ring). Just last friday, the newer xbox got 3 red rings, so it sucks, need to fix it (thankfully its covered under warranty)

Yup, I have the HDMI cable set up on the PS3. It gets the highest resolution, i forget if thats 1080i or 1080p.

i don't have a hdmi port on the xbox, so its at the lower 1080

lol.. i am saying I use HDMI for PS3, and regular component cables for xbox.

Xbox still looks better than PS3 even with the HDMI cable (in some games)

lol... I loved Rockband 1 and Guitar Hero 3. I don't like any of them now. Its the same thing over and over. So its back to shooting and racing games.
