  • Anyone ever use a glad oven bag for their turkey?

    GLAD

One of these. I have heard a couple people say it worked good, but they also eat crappy tasting food all the time.

    Would avoid that.

Fry that bitch and make it taste good.

Yeah, get the oil real hot, stand real close and throw that bitch in while it's still frozen solid! :hibb:

My friends wife refuses to let him come to this small turkey fry I go to every year.

Craziest shit I have ever heard.

                Ick. I hate sausage.

I LOVE Thanksgiving too. We all go to Indiana to visit my dad's family. The whole weekend is just a gluttonous affair. We have our standard Thanksgiving, then we get up early and go hit the sales. Then Saturday is followed by more drinking & eating for the Notre Dame game...(I don't want to hear from any of you haters) :)..Then church on Sunday, followed by another big meal.

This year is extra special because it's Kenley's first. I've been having such a blast with her year of firsts. She has a Thanksgiving outfit w/ matching bib, and Thanksgiving jammies!! I don't know when I got to be so dorky!?

We use the same sausage stuffing recipe every year - it's pretty good (and I don't like stuffing or sausage much)

I was only joking about the putting it in frozen. That thing explodes in a ball of hot grease and flames if you do.

Sounds like you need to make a trip to the Midwest where the people know how to cook. I don't think I ever have had a dry turkey...I mean how can it be when it's dripping in gravy?? LOL
