Credit card # stolen

Does anyone else ever have any trouble with this? This has happend to me twice in a year. Someone has gained access to my credit/debit card# and ran up about 800 bucks on it. How do they do this. Is it paypal? I have heard alot of negative stuff about them.

Paypal had a lot of problems earlier this year with hackers gaining access to peoples financial information. It could very well be your probelm.

I would have to prove it. Igot my money back from my bank but it sucks to have to change all my info (twice).

I personaly use a card with a $500 limit for all my internet use. If I neet to make a bigger purchace I up the limit and bring it back down as soon as I pay it off. I do the instantly too

Found out mail in my area is beig stolen. That could be the cause. I hope I catch them. Im gonna bury whoever it is.

It's probably from stolen mail....My brother had someone steal his mail and get access to his bank account. They were using it to deposit stolen checks and make debit card perchases.

There seems to be a lot of this going around lately. I know of 3 different people that have had the same problem in the last 6 months.
