1.8 Million Christians converting to Islam because they actually believe in it makes me laugh, but 1.8 million converting because money issues, pressure, social climbing, promotions, threats, to divorce ,to marry several women….etc. makes more sens

hahaha, okay. so from what i remember from my Qari (islamic tutor), muhammad and jesus were both prophets and islam recognizes this. however, jesus was not given powers or special privileges, he was a simple human like muhammad. in islam, only god has any superior powers.

muhammad had kid(s? - can't remember) and was just the messenger, nothing else. islam denounces any prophet being the "son of god" or anything along those lines because god, in islam, is not a person or an animal, god is a presence.

and i love how they claim jesus didn't kill anyone. he personally might not have but his influence sparked wars and still do.

also, muhammad's first wife was much older than him, the fact that they mention him marrying Aisha, the 9-year-old, is completely irrelevent. does anyone remember the royalties in europe signing over their daughters to marry at young ages?

islam also recognizes all other religions. it also states that if a muslim is invited to dine at the house of a jew or a christian, they are obliged to dine with them because they must respect all humans as equals. islam also says the day of judgement will come when all the prophets will pray side-by-side.

one thing i'd like to ask is how can muhammad be cited in any books from the apostles if he came centuries after? i mean, that's not possible. and any of these "hadiths" as sources are irrelevant. hadiths simply are the interpretations of the quran from various points of view. kind of like those people you hear that justify the 9/11 attacks, they were followers of an extremist hadith.

and i forgot to address the women part. the woman has the final say in whether or not the marriage between herself and the man will happen. she can refuse at any time, even right before the ceremony takes place. the woman can also divorce her husband in times of abuse. women also are supposed to more educated than the man in the relationship because she is the main person in charge of educating the children. and if the husband of a female decides to get a second/third/fourth wife, the first primary wife has the right to disallow the marriage.

As far as Muslims being killed for converting check out the voice of the martyrs website but, in all fairness Hindus kill and abuse both Muslims and Christians just for being such and also those that convert to anything else. Which I have never understood a religion with a pantheon of gods caring who you worship but I guess they do.

You got it all wrong.

Islam says you can start marrying off your daughters when they hit puberty.

The 9 year old wife hit puberty, and Muhammad married her because she didn't want her to become a prostitute.

The daughters of poor families ended up being prostitutes, so God said you can marry multiple women to save them from death, prostitution, etc...
