So, for about a month now I think I've been sick. A week before Thanksgiving, I caught a cold...Then the day after Thanksgiving, got a sinus infection, or the flu- couldn't tell which. Since then, my nasal passages have been all clogged- they don't want to seem to clear, and I keep couphing up not so pretty colored phlegm. It's not pneumonia or bronchitis..I was at my OB a few weeks ago, and she didn't hear any rattles. But, I still have muscle aches too...I mean, I guess I should go back to the doctor, but I don't have a fever so I'm not going to get any antibiotics...I really hope its not something more serious like MS- or worse...

i've been throwing up phlem since i had strep. i don't have any other symptoms. it's pretty gross!
but stress seems like the most probable answer in your case, especially because of the body aches. stress does take a horrible toll on your body.

stress in the sense that over time it lowers immune system. lower ability to fight any sickness that come your way.Originally posted by redsquirrel View PostJeez! WTF!?!? How do I de-stress? Stop running all over God's green earth? It goes away if I take some Ibuprofen, but I can't believe it's stress related. I'm just a hot mess.
taken a multi? eating healthy? worken out? the last 2 help kill stress.

i think the ibuprofin might be helping with the body aches which makes you think it's helping all your symptoms. destressing is a very person-specific thing. i like to go out and take pictures of stuff and then spend some time editing them (i'm a nerd) but some people go for runs or cook or go for drives. but i'm with you when you say everything in life is basically a stressor.Originally posted by redsquirrel View PostJeez! If you had a sinus infection, they can be difficult to get rid of. Medication does not flow very well into the sinus cavity. It is possible you are still sick from a sinus infection. I had one that remained for nearly 2 months. I had headaches, couldn't breathe. It affected everything. Might want to go back and get it checked.

I've been sick for a week now. I am now getting over it and planning to workout tomorrow.
Each person is different. You'll be surprised how stress can impact someone, i hope you'll de-stress over the holidays. if that doesn't work you can always punch your Mother-in-law in the face :)

Georgia drivers don't understand the keep right except to pass rule :noo:.
Fucking people think that they just have a choice in lane, but if you see me coming up behind you get the fuck out of the way.
They are either dumb, don't look in the rear view (you would be surprised how many people don't), or they are the citizen police drivers (idiots that want to slow me down because I am going to fast in their eyes).

you haven't been to maryland. about you will be really irritated. we have the same rule about keeping to the right but there will always be that idiot (always asian :whistle ) who decides far left lane is their home.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostYep.

the best time to drive up here, at least from what i've noticed is right after peak rush hour when all those people are going to be late for work. nobody is going slow then.

I've been taking Vitamin c...but, eating healthy & getting exercise. I'm busier around this time, but I'm running 2-3 miles a day about 4 times a week, along with at least 2-3 weight sessions..
