I watched 3 hours of hockey (NHL: Montreal vs. Florida), ate a huge dinner (ribs, potatoes, cheese sticks, lemon merengue pie), and at 8pm I am watching Canada vs. USA World Junior hockey. Will have a couple of drinks while watching that game, along with another piece of pie at the 2nd intermission. After that, I might hit a party just down the road I was invited to...depends on if I'm feeling tired.

Six hours of hockey and decadent eating...I couldn't be any more content.

Sounds like it is a barnburner - 3-2 USA after 2 periods. Damn TSN.ca live TV feed is for Canucks only and there does not seem to be any US online feed, at least for free.......:pissed:

One of the most exciting junior games I've ever seen. The US strategy of only taking fast players paid off, even though many of the so-called experts criticized those that picked the team over some talented guys that were left home because they weren't very fast.

You hate to see a game that good end in a shootout, but it's a moot point since Canada's goal with about 3 minutes left should have counted; the USA player clearly pushed the Canadian forward into the goaltender.

Sounds like it was a thriller - too bad I couldn't see it. Hope USA keep their spirits up and take out Finland in the quarters....
