so where i was is north of you. i remember it being like a 2 hours drive north from when we landed in Winnipeg.

ya you were about 3 hours north of me. it's a totally different landscape north of winnipeg. south of winnipeg is mostly all flat plains with heavy agriculture, and north is mostly bush and lakes with a bunch of indian reserves.
