from the early 70s the 240 and the 260 and the 280 line up from what was then for a while called Datsun all used the inline 6 cylinder format ,a engine not known for its peak horsepower but linear and flat power spread. this made it easy for people to go fast with out all the drawbacks of a high rpm hornets nest ..torque or horsepower ? ..nissan has always been in favor of torque.:agreed:

Ya thats true. I love the 240's, they're great cars. Those little 4 cylinders push out a decent power. In japan all the 240's are boosted. fucking insane.Originally posted by buell View Postfrom the early 70s the 240 and the 260 and the 280 line up from what was then for a while called Datsun all used the inline 6 cylinder format ,a engine not known for its peak horsepower but linear and flat power spread. this made it easy for people to go fast with out all the drawbacks of a high rpm hornets nest ..torque or horsepower ? ..nissan has always been in favor of torque.:agreed:
