i've had my cell number since i was in 9th grade. it's never changed. that's about 7.5 years. i know people who get a new one every couple months. i don't really understand that. i'm only now considering getting a number change because i've been getting people calling me recently thinking that my name is "Eileen" and they call from california and jersey.

I've had the same number since beginning of my senior year of High School, so 5 years.

I haven't had any issues with prank callers or anything like that.

I've had my number about 12 years. I was originally my home phone and then I ported it over to my cell.

Google voice allows you to block numbers. Other than that I am not aware of any other way to block numbers on cell phones. Home phones you can do it through your provider via the switch.
