Saw it last night. Thought it was a bit slow, but I really enjoyed it. It was interesting how they shot the angles; they really focused on the facial expressions...thus capturing the 'emotionality.'

I was just so excited to see Depp in a role where he wasn't heavily done up in make-up. I liked the story, enjoyed the acting, but I thought the pace was wrong, and the editing a little harsh in some spots.

Saw it in the theaters - I agree w/both you guys - I thought it was real well done, but damn it was drawn out! But the detail - using the same house where dillinger had that crazy shootout - the historical parts of it were real cool. And I loved the jail breakout!! Little to no character development - people are who they are and nobody changes. Well done though.

John Dillinger was a fucking bad ass. I loved the part where he walked into the Dillinger investigation unit and looked at all his pictures and shit and asked the cops what the score to the game was! fucken awsome!!! :D
