I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't the same perspective as most war movies. It was kind of redundant. I thought from the marketing they were trying to capture more of the reality. It's more about a rogue EOD/Ranger approach, imo. Worth watching once.

Apocalypse now is a great movie - full metal jacket is my favorite of all time - but this Hurt Locker is meant to be pretty bad ass - I'll let ya guys know. I'm also gonna grab Book of Eli.

i liked jarhead. three kings was interesting from what i recall. and dna is talking about apocalypto. not apocalypse now. he confused the titles.

I liked The Kingdom, but i didn't like how the US was portrayed as the one to save the whole world from terrorists.

Is it gonna be a liberal slanted war movie; The only war movies I liked are saving private ryan, hamburger hill, platoon and the great escape. Watch Apocalypse Now Redux and you will think someone slipped something in your drink very trippy. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning....Smells like victory!"
