  • Have to go for an MRI hopefully this week.

Long story short I've been out of the gym for about two weeks now and went to an orthopedic doc today. My back issue flared up again for no reason at all. Went to an urgent care place last week and none of the meds worked.

So I went today and the doc said since it hasn't gone away yet and it's happened numerous times he wants to see the xrays they took last week and have an MRI done. He said it can't be muscle related since the pain meds didn't help. He stated it could be a herniated disc or even a stress fracture in my spine.

Just lower back pain right next to my spine, sometimes to where I can't get up. Couple months ago it was so bad I couldn't get off the couch. Couple times it flared up when lifting, not even heavy.

watch your posture. slouching, head forward pulls the spine in the wrong direction. try laying down on the floor on your stomach and watch tv etc.. for like an hour or so. stretch it all back the way its is supposed to be. may be tight muscles pulling the spine and hitting nerves etc..

you would be amazed at what bad posture can do.

Yeah i've been doing this alot to make sure my spine isn't bent or that i'm slouching. The stretching thing helped the last time a little but this time it hasn't.

It's pretty constant. Last night laying on my back was bothering me and i had to lay on my side.
