Facebook causes so much drama and allows people to check up on their significant others constantly and know everything they do.... But if you have nothing to hide then it shouldn't matter...

It sure does. Im single and at least 3-4 of my ex's have contacted me and we've talked and all of their husbands logged on and told me to stay away from their wife. I had no bad intentions. Its just that we talked about old times and that pissed their husbands off. I wouldnt want my wife reminiscing with an ex BF either now that I think about it.....

I can totally see it. Sonis & I have had SEVERAL heated "discussions" about how frequently he's on there...I mean, WTF is so important that you have to see what EVERYONE else is doing??? is everyone else really that interesting?

ITS FACEBOOK!!!! Ya'll need to chill out. Its a social network for kids. If you're over 30 and you have one, shame on you. Delete it and get on with your lives.

                      One word answer: yes.

really? you're paranoid that an internet connection with someone from their past would be bad? i mean, your wife wanting to meet in person should be the problem.

facebook is good for people to get contacts and such but only if you portray yourself in that way. guys taking pictures with a hookah in one hand, a beer in another and a girl half-naked hanging over their shoulder is not an image that contacts are looking for. i'm assuming you didn't have that as your profile picture.

One other thing I think Facebook is going to do: make high school reunions pointless.

My high school is having a big bash in May, and I doubt I'll bother going. The reason being is that, thanks to Facebook:

-I already know what everyone I remotely give a shit about looks like now
-I already know what everyone I remotely give a shit about is up to these days

The only reason I can see to attend one of these things anymore is if you're single, and someone you always wanted to hook up with when you were in HS but never got the chance to is single, and you know they are going to be there...one last shot at it sort of thing. Other than that, what's the point?
